Family Nurse Practitioner

I  earned my Bachelors and Masters of Science in Nursing from Oakland University. I have been practicing as a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2007. Since 2009, I have been employed by Family First Health Care of Capac.  I am board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioner. While my nursing background is in the Emergency Room, I have a passion for developing a good rapport with patients and their families in addition to the intellectual challenges that are associated with working in Family Practice.  Outside of work, my husband and I enjoy watching our two sons play sports; our favorite being baseball.

Family Nurse Practitioner

I earned my Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Wayne State University in 1994 and my Masters of Science in Nursing at Oakland University in 2017.  During my twenty-three years as a registered nurse, I worked in the emergency department, intensive care unit, and recovery room.  My desire to advance my nursing career and passion to provide quality care to patients of all ages lead me to become board certified as a family nurse practitioner.  I began my career as a correctional primary care nurse practitioner and then in August of 2018 enthusiastically joined the Family First Capac and Armada team.  When I am not at the office, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband and three teenagers.
